Very pretty Yemeni silver ring that can be worn by a man or a woman, though traditionally worn by men as agate is thought to be a blessed stone because the prophet Muhammed wore an agate ring set in silver. This pretty ring's agate is shaped as an eye which has the added attraction of keeping the evil eye away. The band is unmarked but verified to be of high grade silver. The band is decorated on either side of the agate cabochon with hand engraved floral patterns. The ring is from the second half of the XX century and is in good vintage condition.
